Buffalo Bills Contracts

Buffalo Inks Wide Receiver Curtis Samuel

Three-Year, $24 Million Deal

Buffs Beef Up Receiving Corps

The Buffalo Bills have added a significant piece to their offense, signing wide receiver Curtis Samuel to a three-year, $24 million deal.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the deal includes $14 million guaranteed, making it a lucrative move for the 25-year-old pass-catcher.

Samuel joins a young and talented Bills offense led by quarterback Josh Allen. He brings a versatile skillset, capable of lining up in multiple positions and contributing both as a receiver and a runner.

In his previous four seasons with the Carolina Panthers, Samuel recorded 1,978 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. His addition gives the Bills a much-needed boost to their receiving corps, which has been looking for a reliable number two behind Stefon Diggs.

With Samuel now in the fold, the Bills offense has the potential to take a significant leap forward. Allen will have more weapons at his disposal, and the team's overall scoring efficiency could improve.

The Bills open their 2023 regular season against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 11. Samuel is expected to play a major role from the get-go, adding his speed, athleticism, and playmaking ability to the Bills' high-powered offense.
